On behalf of the Georgetown Agricultural Society I wish to welcome all of our visitors, new or not so new, as well as all of our volunteers, exhibitors and vendors to this, the 168th edition of the Georgetown Fall Fair.
I hope that everyone who comes to the fair, whether a rural or urban resident, young or old, will find interesting activities to watch, participate in the hands on activities, and learn a little something about our agricultural roots.
The fair has so much to offer - an Agricultural Awareness Tent, Livestock Competition and an English Hunter/Jumper Horse show, a section devoted to young children with entertainment and many hands-on activities, a Homecraft exhibit, the ever popular demolition derby, a midway as well as food vendors and exhibitors.
It takes a lot of energy and time to put on the Fair. We are very lucky that the fair has a dedicated Board and volunteers that have spent countless hours since the closing of last year’s Fair not only to plan for but to put on a Fair that provides entertainment, education and thrills.
On September 5, 6 & 7, come out and enjoy fabulous family fun at the Georgetown Fall Fair!
